I designed these tattoos for myself, and all are based on things I hold dear. Growing up, my grandparents had an enormous print of a photograph by Helmut Newton showing a woman in the mouth of an alligator. The two-headed calf is based on a poem by Laura Gilpin that breaks my heart. My mother and father were born in 1970 and 1971 respectively.
